Select the right combination of cards and ribbons for your labels
All ribbons and cards supplied by Edikio are easy to install and benefit from Evolis High Trust® quality. These products have been tested by the Evolis Quality Department to guarantee professional results.

Edikio alternative range: show your difference
The Edikio range of consumables offers three alternatives to PVC media:
- PLA/WOOD cards : With their natural wood appearance, PLA/WOOD cards offer similar advantages to conventional PVC cards.
- Paper cards Ideal for short-term use (from a few hours to a few days) or for use requiring little handling.
- Recycled PETG cards : With their white monochrome printing on a black matte finish background, they look just as good and professional as PVC cards. They’re easy to clean, and tough enough to withstand frequent handling. What’s more, they’re dedicated to the food industry.
These environmentally-friendly alternative cards are suitable for a wide range of uses, and offer multiple personalization possibilities thanks to Edikio Guest and Edikio Price Tag software. Tested and validated by Edikio’s R&D and Quality departments, they offer a high-quality, professional black monochrome finish.
Choose the format that meets your needs
If the label format you’ve chosen is suitable for most of your products, it may be too small or too large for some. A solution that allows you to create different label formats is therefore preferable, to preserve both the visibility of your products and the legibility of your labels, and to give you greater flexibility.
The different card formats allow you to present and differentiate your products in a harmonious way:
Credit card format
Ideal for showcasing your products on display stands, large enough to display all the necessary information without obscuring your products.
Dimensions of standard cards (CR80):
- 85.6 mm x 54 mm
Long cards
They offer a larger writing surface so you can provide even more information to your customers. Flexible, they are easy to insert into shelf rails if necessary.
Dimensions of long cards:
- 120 x 50 mm
- 150 x 50 mm: the ideal format for bakery products, in compliance with French bread labelling decree 78-89/P.
3-TAG cards
Ideal if you need to highlight specific features (promotions, organic foods, labels, handmade items, etc.) or label small items (such as chocolates). Composed of three detachable parts, you can print several mini labels at the same time.

Available in standard format, the recycled PETG cards can be printed with the white ribbon “WHITE RCT052NAA” for Access and “White RCT015NAA” for Flex and Duplex.

Choose the layout of your labels
The advantage of plastic cards is that they can be presented in a variety of ways, with or without a backing. Have you ever thought of folding your labels?
Folded cards have two major advantages:
- A low-cost solution: folding the labels allows them to stand on their own, so there’s no need to use special supports.
- Save time: no more endless searches to find the right backing for your labels! What’s more, you save the time spent ordering, installing and cleaning them. Folded labels can be installed quickly and easily, with guaranteed stability.
Folding these labels is child’s play! You can use one format to create up to 5 others.
The various folding options increase your presentation possibilities and ensure that your labels always fit the size of your products.

Maximizing the performance and warranty of your Edikio printers
Clean your printer to optimize its performance
Printing on plastic or paper cards requires periodic cleaning of the printer as cards can attract dust and dirt. To help you maintain your printer’s performance and lifespan, Evolis supplies cleaning kits for thorough cleaning of the equipment.
Evolis High Trust® cleaning kits include different cleaning tools, each designed for a specific part of the printer:
- Print head: cotton buds, pencils
- Cleaning rolls: adhesive cards
- Transport rollers: T-boards
- Printer: wipes
Keeping your printer's warranty valid
The print head warranty is directly linked to the periodic cleaning of your printer. If you do not carry out this cleaning within the required time, the print head warranty will no longer be valid.
To keep your printer’s warranty valid, we recommend that you carry out the following cleaning cycles:
